Description
a commissioned piece, fulfilling a request for something 'dark, sexy and with cherry blossoms'...I truly enjoyed working on this one! I learned many things in this pic. Her face, IMHO, is one of if not the prettiest face I've ever painted.oh, btw, I've finally caught up with everyone else and replaced my ancient PS 7 with PS CS3! better late than never, ha ha ha XD
PS CS3 and Illustrator CS3

I love all the decorative elements, particularly the swirling clouds with gold lining. Mmm! Looking at your ref, I see where the leg is coming from, but it still looks awkward. I guess I'd have suggested getting a separate ref for that part. Her right foot and hand show lots of attention to detail (yum!), and the face is well done (though the eyes might be a bit uneven?). Hair is lovely, too--nice and subtle and silky.

I agree with you : best face you've ever made! Wonderful lightings melting with tattoos. But I think her right leg is way too thick in spite of the pose you gave her. Nevertheless you got +9/9 'cos this one's really outstanding and I see how you improve your work each time. Congrats.

You have a gift of making intruiging compositions,
this is no exception.
There are some small things that could be improved:
The pose is daring and a difficult one and you pult it of quite well
The left leg as mentioned is a bit too thick, also her feet are a bit too large,
although you've rendered them very well, a feature most artist overlook.
Scales! yay! good work on that
All in all a very engaging piece and yes the face is beautiful
+ 9.5 = 10

Only one thing.... I find the leg a little bit strange ??
